I have been facing this problem since last 3 months I read everything and everywhere , I tried to reset my airpods from my airpods case more than 10 times. My problem is still not solved and i cannot use find my iphone application to find my iphone for my airpods it show me the location only when they are on my ears. if the pods are in the case it shows me the last seen location. I don't know what to do please help me.

As you didn't mention the model, verify that you're using AirPods Pro 2nd generation for case sounds to be an option per Charge your AirPods and learn about battery life.
Assuming that is true, next check the firmware of those per About firmware updates for AirPods and follow the guidance in that article if the firmware version doesn't match what is listed on that page.
