Subscription payment deducted for canceled subscription

I subscribed to an app for some period. I cancelled the subscription the previous day of renewal, maybe less than 24 hours, but the money got deducted from UPI mandate. The subscription was not extended as visible from App Store and the app. Worst part is there is no trace in apple about it. The transaction is present in my bank statements.

Hi, I had also faced the same issue. So, what you have to do is Delete AutoPay from your UPI app because as illogical as it sounds, your app or Apple store cancellation won't get reflected with your Bank. So, to actually cancel the subscription, you have to do it with your concerned UPI app. Hope it helps.

I was able to get a refund without contacting the support team.

i had cancelled on Apple subscriptions but since I forgot to cancel on my Gpay auto-pay, the payment was processed by Gpay,

however, after 2-3 days the payment was reversed by Apple on their own as there was no account on their end to charge it to.

As long as you have cancelled your subscription before the due date, it will be refunded.

The charge goes through UPI as one can forget to cancel on the UPI platform, but it will be reversed by Apple in a few days time.

Same thing happened to me too. I subscribed for the free trial of LinkedIn premium and even though I cancelled the subscription 2 days prior the renewal date, money got deducted from my account.

But eventually it got refunded to me within 5 days, So don't worry they refund the money within a week or so.

What I suggest is that if you are making a UPI Autopay mandate do cancel it from the respective app before the renewal date or else they deduct the money even if you cancelled the subscription.

It happened to me as well. I am not able to request for refund as there is no trace of transaction on Apple's system. Apple support team is also not able to help either, because as per their system the transaction never happened. They asked me to wait for 48 hours in order for the transaction to show up in their system. But it's already been 4days and still I have not received the refund.
