Hello if anyone is having this issue with not receiving verification codes..I contact my carrier (AT&T) it was quit simple..turn on air plane mode for a few seconds then turn it back off***make sure to turn it back off*** Then I tried to receive a verification code again..and voilà it worked for me! Hope it works for you too!

I may have a solution for you.

I have an iPhone 15 with the same problem. None of the suggestions I found on the internet helped. I phoned my carrier AT&T three times with not much help either, but the third agent gave me the number for the Advanced Technical Support team (tel: (866) 288-7629). The lady there (in the Philippines) ran a diagnostic and found a mismatch with my phone’s IMEI number. She then deleted my eSIM card, installed a new one, and Voila! I was able to receive verification codes again. Apparently, verification codes require a higher level of security in texts, and one of the things is to check for a matching IMEI number. Hope this helps others out there.

Hello jyamee1!

Please go to: Settings > Your Name > Name, Phone Numbers, Email. Now, under “CONTACTABLE AT,” do you see your phone number?

To double-check your device’s phone number, please go to: Settings > Your Name. Now, just above the red “Sign Out,” tap on iPhone. Now, under “DEVICE INFO,” check your phone number, and make sure it is entered in the place I described above. 👆

I hope this is helpful. Good Luck!

Generally, those verification codes are sent using Short Code Text Messaging. These short code text messages are received from a 5 or 6 digit phone number. This capability/feature is provided and managed by your carrier. I recommend that you contact your carrier and tell them about not receiving verification codes which may be sent over short code messaging service. Their support team should be able to address this for you and find a resolution.

Bro u don’t go to the AT&T store and ask them to call a number. U call AT&T customer care yourself like a normal person. This is not AT&T store employees job to fix this as IT IS AN IPHONE ISSUE NOT CARRIER ISSUE!! The store employees are there to sell phones not fix your problems. This is coming from an AT&T store manager. This is false, u call customer care yourself at home, we’re not going to help with that in the store.

Ernang1, my friend I KNOW how frustrating this can be. Please please please call your carrier back. DO NOT HANG UP UNTIL YOU GET SOMEONE TO FIX THIS ISSUE. IT IS WITH YOUR CARRIER. they will blame it on iOS and update and all that but I promise you, it’s the carrier. The person you spoke to just didn’t know. Please see my post (I’ll paste it below). You may have to use specific language to get them to understand what you need. I truly hope this helps. I know how challenging this can be. Godspeed

My message to the community:

I did everything suggested here even resetting my network settings. WHAT WORKED FOR ME was calling verizon and having them “refresh,” and “re-sync” my “phone on the network” (their words, not mine). They used both words interchangeably (refresh/re-sync). They sent me text sms messages and when it worked, I tested it by trying to sign into a website that wasn’t able to send me the 6-digit codes for nearly a week that I really needed to sign I to.

I also wanted to try calling apple support like suggested above but I didn’t need to. Next time I’ll try apple support. Just don’t let your phone carrier tell you they can’t fix this uNeil they’ve refreshed your phone on the network. It took the lady 40 mins to figure it out but she was diligent and I was patient and it worked.

I’d like to truly thank the community here for all your help because regular web searches were not helpful. Telling me to do silly things like reset my phone and update phone as if that’s not troubleshooting 101. I guess everyone isn’t a tech geek like me and maybe they need to be told to reset their phone. Sometimes that does work. But it was YOU all who truly helped. Thank you, again! I AM so grateful.
