My iPhone 6S is totally dead. Help please!

Hi,

My 6S+ had plenty of charge but crashed while in use. I switched it back on, but it kept getting to the Apple logo then crashing. Did this about 10 times. I rebooted it but it kept doing the same thing. The phone hasn't been dropped or damaged.

Plugged it into my PC and opened iTunes. It detected that something was wrong with the phone and offered an update to solve the problem. I hit yes and it started downloading and updating. It eventually went back to the normal iTunes screen and now the phone doesn't do anything - just a blank screen.

Tried iTunes on my laptop PC as well - the PC said there was an error on the device and it didn't recognise it. Tried it back on my desktop PC, and the same thing happens. I've cleaned out the charge port on the phone, tried a different cable and charged it up. No joy.

Any ideas please?

You've done everything I can think of to do at home. Realistically, the phone is at least seven years old so, it may not be worth spending money on to have it repaired. If you have never had the battery replaced, it's possible that you're problem is just the battery. That might be worth it. Beyond that, I personally wouldn't pay to have it repaired.
