Tried to create a new Suica card in my iPhone in the US but payment wouldn’t go through. What’s wrong?
I tried to create a new Suica card on my iPhone while in the US.
I was able to get as far as selecting a default amount to out in the card (5,000 Yen) and it asked for Touch ID to complete the payment (linked to my credit card) but it didn’t work. It would keep asking for payment.
My credit card linked to Apple Pay is a Visa card and I’m told there are no foreign transaction fees nor should there be problems using it in Japan.
The card limit hasn’t been reached either.
