What exactly are you trying to accomplish by "pairing" or "mirroring"?


Mirroring would imply they are both the same phone and receive the same messages , calls, photos etc.. Everything you get he sees, and everything he gets you see. Is that really what you want?


If you want to control and limit the iPhone usage, you can use family sharing and Screen Time restriction for that.
