Automated work alarms using Shortcuts

Hello!

I am trying to set up an automated alarm for work (I don’t have a set schedule and sometimes forget to set an alarm before bed) and I got most of it done. Right now, the shortcut checks for an event on my work calendar for the next day, and creates an alarm for the start time of the event without any issues. I ran into a problem when I added a calculation action so that the alarm goes off 1:30 before my shift starts. When I added the calculation, I get the error “Create Alarm failed because Shortcuts couldn’t convert from Text to Date.” Does anyone know of another way I can have it offset the alarm time so that it will work properly? An image of the section in question is provided below.

Thanks in advance

I figured it out! I was looking for math operations, but there is a calendar related operation called “Adjust Date” which keeps the format of a date while adjusting the output time keeping it compatible with the clock app.
