Contacts not Syncing

Hi, I have an issue with my contacts not syncing to Watch after an iPhone upgrade. I cannot seem to get them working through any usual method described here and in other resources. I have tried Resyncing, restarting, unpairing, toggling contact sync in iCloud. The issue was absent with my iPhone 11, but persists with iPhone 14. The devices managed to sync up to about half of the letter B, and does not sync further, so almost all incoming messages and phone calls display as number.

Is there another fix or workaround I can try?

I have had this same issue for nearly a year now. I tried everything listed everywhere on the internet. I even had a replacement watch sent to me twice. I also took it into the genius bar and they couldn't figure it out.

Edit: Solution finally found. You have to go to General>iCloud hit the contacts toggle switch to OFF and then back to ON. When you set to OFF, it will ask you if you want to keep your contacts on your phone, click YES, then when that completes, then toggle back to ON, click "merge". Give it a few minutes. Then I also went to the iWatch app and General>Reset>Reset Sync Data. Give it a minute or two. Fixed.
