Shortcut Intercom Voice doesn't match the Siri Voice from settings.

I've created a shortcut to intercom to my homepods when dinner is ready. I have an iphone 13 Pro with the British siri voice and that one works great over the intercom, but my wife has an iphone XR with the same voice selected but everytime she runs the shortcut, the voice on the intercom feature is the old robotic voice from years ago. We've reset her settings, redownloaded the voice packages, the siri voice even works correctly when speaking through her iphone, it just doesn't output the right voice when using the intercom feature. I know it sounds nitpicky but it's annoying that this one thing doesn't work. Has anyone else run into this or have a solution? Is the iphone xr just too outdated?

I’ve got the same issue but also the robotic voice is used when the shortcut is run from the Apple Watch too. Works fine from the iPhone I created the shortcut on. The watch is attached to the same iPhone that works properly so I assumed it would work fine too but sadly not.

I don’t think it’s related to the age of your device as my iPhone is the 15 pro max and watch is the ultra 2, also tried from another iPhone in my house which is the 14 pro and that also does the same as yours.

Ill post back if I get it sorted.
