Stage manager

Whenever I turn on stage manager and open more than about 3 apps, my apps on the side disappear even though my setting for "show recent applications" is on. It does go back to normal when I close a few apps. My mac is pretty new so I am not sure why I am having this issue. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Safari not working with Stage Manager on MacOS Ventura I use stage manager on MacOS Ventura. Everything worked well until today when Safari crashed. After it crashed the first time, it would crash every time I opened it. Eventually I got out of that cycle and now Safari is working again. But, it's not working properly with Stage Manager. When you open a new app, your current app usually goes to the left where the list of recently used apps are. However, Safari doesn't do this after the crash cycle. It simply stays behind the current app. I've also noticed an additional issue where Safari won't show the min/max icons when in full screen.

Stage manager and Safari on iMac When I'm using Safari on my iMac (Ventura 13.3) and have it open, it won't 'leave the stage' when I click on the desktop. It always stay there. When I bring 'on stage' another app from the LHS stack, Safari just remains there. All the other apps 'leave the stage' as expected, but not Safari. I also opened Chrome, and when I have it open 'centre stage' I can make it move 'off stage' by clicking the desktop. So its behaving as I would expect. Anyone else having this problem? I restarted in Safe Mode, but same behaviour. Thanks

There's a limit of four thumbnails on small laptop screens. Six on 27" screens. No fix, is normal.
