Still Confused - Mail 'Archive' Versus Gmail 'All Mail' ?!
I use both Mail and Gmail on my Apple iMac (Ventura 13.4). Much personal confusion as to what these email apps are doing with respect to each other's archived msgs. (This has been an on-going enigma well before I recently updated to Ventura 13.4.)
1) Are there different types of msgs, besides active and archived, that are included in Gmail's 'All Mail' label?
2) How are Mail and Gmail interrelated with respect to how they archive my personal Gmail and Mail msgs from my iMac (Intel) and iPad?
3) Is Mail's 'Archive' simply an identical 'copy' of Gmail's 'All Mail', or vice versa? That is, does each hold all of my currently active and archived msgs?
5) How am I suppose to be able to know which msgs in 'All Mail' are archived ones versus active ones? Especially when there can be literally hundreds of active and archived msgs intermingled within 'All Mail'? Shouldn't there be some sort of flag to distinguish between them, or an option to display the difference between these 2 lists of m
msgs?
6) Why, after I send Gmail msgs, does Mail's 'Archive' mailbox always appear by default, rather than Mail's or Gmail's Inbox? Is 'Archive' showing me all my active and archived Mail msgs and/or Gmail msgs?
