I had the same issue, turn air plane mode on and then off again, it worked for me

I had the same issue. Under messages in settings there’s a toggle button that says “ low image quality” I didn’t figure out what it actually impacts but toggling it to “on” appears to fix the problem

I tried all of the suggestions and nothing was working. On a lark, I turned WiFi off/on and it went to work. It was a Forrest Gump thing, "You never know what you're going to get!"

I had this problem with ipone15. I changed photo format from HEIC to most compatible

If Photos Won't Message:

The only way around it at the moment (for me) is to enable Cellular. Once enabled, all will send.

Troubleshooting Text Messages:

B. Whom to Contact:

Contact your carrier, as they are the one who provide you with the service of Messaging

when you try to attach a photo on your iPhone, click options and turn off both options "captions" and "locations". It seems to work, but doesn't automatically attach the pic so its still frustrating: an extra step for no reason...

That turn off, then on “Airplane mode” worked .

I was not pleased seeing this happen again without knowing what’s going on.

I found something that appears to be working for me, don't know if it will help anyone else. I turned Personal Hotspot on in my cellular data and now pictures are going through.

Turn WiFi off, then turn it back on.

Same with me. Very frustrating.

The only way I can send a picture is if I take the picture while I’m in the text.

I finally gave up on DIY support and brought it to the Apple store. Within 10 minutes she figured it out. Don't ask me how/where but ultimately all the settings were reset. The bad news is I have to re-enter all my passwords and re-do all the sounds, wallpaper, etc that took me years to set up.
