AppleTV won't connect to Internet

I use a hard wired Ethernet connection with HDMI. I have restarted the AppleTV, restarted and unplugged/replugged the HDMI connection, restarted the modem, restarted the router, and a combination of all of these.


Despite that, I get the same warning: "AppleTV cannot connect to Internet. Check your connection."


Any advice?

Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that your Apple TV is not working as expected. You may want to try a new Ethernet cable, and if this does not work Apple Support would be more than happy to help you troubleshoot more in depth.
