What replaces a double click of the iPhone 8 home button on iPhone 13?

with my iPhone 8, I would double click the home button to show me what apps I had running all in a series of tiles. What replaces that on iPhone 13?

Hold your finger at the bottom of the screen and swipe up slowly until you see the multiple app panes appear. Then swipe up on an app to make it disappear.

You'll get the hang of it after a few tries.
