Cannot save scanned file

I cannot save a scanned file using Epson printer/scanner XP2100. What should I do?

Test scanning with macOS Image Capture.

and/or > https://soundsupport.biz/2015/10/18/how-to-scan-using-image-capture/

Both Image Capture and Epson Scan have a Scan To: selection that sends the scan to that location.

If that doesn't help, then you may need to update the Epson Drivers and Utilities.
