Canvas videos not streaming well on MacBook Air

My MacBook isn't streaming videos from Canvas well. They are really choppy, and stop a lot, even if I turn off everything and make sure I don't have a lot of windows or a second browser window open. I use Google Chrome. Any suggestions? Youtube and other video streaming sites usually work just fine. MacBook Air 2021, 8 gb, OS Monterey 12.5.1

Video streaming in Safari after update January 2023 Hi, My macbook (pro, 2015) updated yesterday and is now having problems with streaming videos from different websites (I tried both youtube, netflix). The audio is fine but the the video only gives me 1 new frame each couple of seconds. On google Chrome videos stream properly, so it must have to do with safari or it's plug-ins. I tried reducing video quality, cleared my history, checked my internet speed and all seems ok. I am working on Safari Version 16.2 (17614.3.7.1.7, 17614) and my macbook runs on MacOS Monterey V 12.6.2 (21G320). How can I fix this problem?

Since the issue is limited to Canvas, you may want to see if the issue persists while using another web browser? That can help isolate your issue a bit more. However, you may need to reach out to Canvas support directly: Canvas Support
