In the latest Logic Pro 10.7.8 I'm having an issue with audio editing - when I cut an audio region and do a crossfade splice, the region becomes an endless loop extending the full width of the timeline. Really annoying productivity killer. Anyone else seeing this?
Select the looped regions, uncheck Loop in the Region Inspector.
To reset this as the default which should normally be the case, click in into the empty Main Window, then uncheck Loop in the Region Inspector.

The track itself had Loop unchecked, but when I clicked into its empty parent track stack it was checked there. Unchecking it seemed to do the trick.
I've never had this default problem before with other releases so other confused users upgrading to 10.7.8 might find this post helpful -- thanks!
