Your phone does not send your picture when you make a call, the photo that appears on their phone will be the picture that the person you call assigned to your contact record in their Contacts.

Hi…idk if this is still a problem you are dealing with still or not but you are sending a pic out to everyone. Its in your settings and you can either allow it or not.

Go into your settings and then to messages. Half way down youll see share name and photo. Thats where you can change it. You can decide whether or not you want your photo to be sent to the people you are contacting. I hope this helps.

Actually that's not totally correct. After i updated yesterday, a photo on MY PHONE was showing to people i called, i only found out because one of my co workers said hey nice photo of you and your wife, and was like WHAT. Anyway, go to settings, messages, then Share Name and Photo and you can choose which photo or no photo to share when you call people. I chose my initials. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. However, your reply indicates how I assign a picture to each of my contacts, each picture I assign being a separate picture of my choosing that I want to associate to the contact for them to see when they receive a call from me. However, somehow in the iPhone system it appears I have assigned a global picture of my choosing to my phone number ID, so without assigning a picture to a specific contact whenever someone receives a call from me, they see this global picture I have associated with my phone number ID and the picture appears as my caller ID on their phone. I want to change this global picture associated with my caller ID (my phone number). Hope my explanation above makes sense to you. Thanks again for taking the time to reply to my question.

I didnt assume he was wrong, as i said not TOTALLY correct. How about you worry about removing the post if its now inaccurate and stop wasting my time attempting to correct something that doesnt need correction.
