Recording multiple quicktime videos
Hi, i'm trying to record from different cameras and have them as separate files, however Quicktime won't allow me to open another new movie record window- the option is greyed out

Try this:
Open Terminal
Type:
open -n -a /System/Applications/QuickTime\ Player.app (followed by enter)
Type it again (followed by enter)
Duplicate versions of Quicktime Player - … - Apple Community
