How to unblock unknown calls on iPhone

I have found out that if you go on settings- then screen time- then communication limit- then make sure both screen time and down time are set to ‘everyone’

Go to settings

scroll to bottom where it says apps

click on apps

scroll down to phone

click on phone

scroll down to silence unknown callers

click on that and you turn it off and on

I found the the FOCUS setting was the cause of blocked / unknown / private numbers not being allowed to answer.

This is now resolved.

I have tried the various method on my new iPhone 15 to get important calls todo with my health but one works could it be a sim problem even though Apple just put old sim in new phone I am really bad at tech stuff so bear with me and I thank people in advance for any suggestions that might help thanks again

Any other suggestions? I did that saved and even turned my phone off and on again but still won’t let me receive the calls. It won’t allow me to access a voicemail from an unknown caller and I’m almost positive it was one of my doctors.

unkonwn Calls not going through and text msgs not showing. I can’t even see important notifications from my atms withdrawals or any important text. All I’m getting is missies calls on my call log and text msgs with no context. Pls assist

i want to accept calls from unknown numbers. Before 18.1.1 I could go to settings-phone and silence calls from unknown numbers . Now I can’t find it.

i want to silence unknown callers. Before 18.1.1 I would go to settings scroll down to phone click on it and the option would appear. Now when I go to settings and scroll down the phone option is not there . ???

I am not receiving private numbers on my cell phone….like my Doctor. What do I do?
