I'm setting up a Logitech MK470 mouse/keyboard and Mac is not finding it to pair.

I'm setting up a Logitech MK470 mouse/keyboard and Mac is not finding it to pair. Plugged in receiver and nothing happens. I've downloaded new Mac update and restarted and also tried to download Logitech unifying software, but none found to download. I also tried this keyboard/mouse with receiver on another computer (PC) and it worked instantly. Has to be the Mac. Any ideas what might be happening?

There is no mention on Logitech's site of the MK470 working with a Mac. Also see the following from https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/combos/mk470-slim-wireless-keyboard-mouse.920-011311.html?searchclick=logi

System Requirements

Receiver

  • Required : Available USB port
  • Windows® 7, 8, 10 or later
  • ChromeOS
  • Works with Surface
