Does anyone know why my iphone (13 pro) beeps loudly (as though on speaker) after a phonecall? The beep is usually as loud as the phone conversation, but now my phone beeps loudly as though its on speaker and it can really hurt your ears if you keep the phone while the other person is hanging up. I don't see any setting option for this. Maybe an update is needed to correct this?

updating to ios 16 caused this for me. I was looking to see if other people had something similar and I think this is the only rationale that’s common between us
It’s now July and still happening…
They just released a new update. Hopefully this fixes the issue!

Yes! It is so annoying. I have an IPhone 12 Pro Max and this happening ever since the last update. Very frustrating when trying to be quiet as it is very loud. @Apple please fix this issue fast!
It does it on my iPhone too but it plays the sound on the bottom speaker not the top speaker

This is happening on my 14 pro max. It is extremely loud when someone hangs up a call and everyone knows they hung up lol. I have no idea how to make it stop.
I am also facing same issue for my iphone 13 anyone got any solution please share?
It works but I have to do it every time someone hangs up 😤

Unfortunately, iOS 16.5.1 (a) is a Rapid Security Response, and fixes nothing except for a security vulnerability.
