Hello AlVCore,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about issues with iCloud for Windows.

Start here, check the entire article, but we also pointed out the capability and limitations: Set up iCloud for Windows on your PC - Apple Support

"iCloud for Windows compatibility

If it's none of those, it's possibly interference with third-party security. Check the info and troubleshooting here: Resolve issues between iCloud for Windows or iTunes and third-party security software - Apple Support

It might be as simple as finding your security app, opening the window, and clicking "Allow" and then signing in again to let it know this is a safe connection.

Thanks.

This known issue should be disclosed prior to changing one’s Apple ID (email address). The issue is that one's iCloud for Windows Apple ID can't easily be changed.

I changed my AppleID and rendered my Windows laptop unusable. After chatting with a live Apple help assistant, his recommendation was to reinstall Windows. Six hours later, after reinstalling and updating Windows, reinstalling drivers and other programs, my new Apple ID was incorporated into iCloud for Windows.

Here is a suggestion for where a warning message might be posted: on the Sign In and Security Page, https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage, is a link to change one's Apple ID.
