How do I keep from deleting photos from my Mac computer? I am worried that when I deleted photos from my phone, and also deleted them from the deleted files, that they wiped clean my computer. When it says that it deletes them from all files I get

When I delete photos from my deleted files on my phone, and it says it will delete from all devices, does that mean it will wipe clean my downloaded photos from my Mac computer as well?

Import to your Mac and then you can delete from the iPhone

  1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your Mac with a USB cable.
  2. Open the Photos app on your computer.
  3. The Photos app shows an Import screen with all the photos and videos that are on your connected device. ... 
  4. If asked, unlock your iOS or iPadOS device using your passcode.

Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos. Tap Sync this iPhone. In iOS 15 or earlier, tap to turn on iCloud Photos. Select Optimize iPhone Storage to save space on your device.
