Logging into iCloud--popup shows old email address

I have encountered exactly the same problem described by a prior user in the Community: "Hi! I recently signed into icloud to manage my storage and a new

continuous popup keeps asking me to sign in under my old email address

(I'm already signed in under new email). This is only happening on my

home computer. It won't let me change the email address to the new one.

It keeps popping up over and over and is so annoying. If anyone can help

how I can stop this I would greatly appreciate it! Its popped up twice

while I type this. Thank you!"

The solution you provided did not work. Come on--this should be basic.

We are all Apple users, like yourself, doing the best we can to help each other out.

It seems necessary to always keep your Apple ID account information up-to-date.

Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services, like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more.

Try logging in to your Apple ID account online,

and checking all the details there are up-to-date, (else you can update them).

If the old eMail address is still in use as your Apple ID: you can change it:

Apple ID Log-in:

If you need help with the verification code:

you may be able to get one on a trusted device:

You may need to allow 24 hours for any changes to update.
