why can't i change text capitalisation in a column? Only option is none for me.

If you need to change the actual value of the text in a cell to uppercase, as opposed to just how it is displayed, then keep in mind that you can use the UPPER function.


UPPER - Apple Support


To change an entire column you would add an adjacent column, in the first body enter the formula referring to the first body of the orginal column, and fill that formula down the new column.


Then, to "remove" the formulas select the cells in new column, command-c to copy, and Edit > Paste Formula Results.


Then delete the original column.
