Custom photo File names

I never really thought about it but I have 4 people in my family and all have iPhones and we often wind up with many duplicate file names when I merge all the photos in our archive.

Is there a way that each iPhone can put a prefix on the filename so we know the person in the family that took the photos?

The additional benefits are endless.

They both are logged into my iCloud account and they both put photos into my Photos library. Unless I remember the number of the current file, there is no way to quickly determine which photo was made by which phone. I would love for Apple (and a lot of other people would love it too) if Apple would add a feature that would allow the user to change the file name format to include the phone name in the file name. I know the meta data has it, but it would be nice to have the file name contain it. Could this be added? Thanks.

move photos from one apple id to another We want to separate family members 'camera rolls. We created a new apple ID for one family member and now are trying to figure out how to save the photos they want to keep that are associated with the family leaders apple ID to their new apple ID and new phone. Is there an easy way to do this?

share a file with family members My husband and I would like our photos to all to go into one directory. Specifically, we'd like the photos he takes with his phone that currently go to his section of our Family Sharing plan go to my photos directory of the Family Sharing plan in iCloud, since that's where we keep our master section of all photos. I just can't imagine there's no way to do this. Right now we have to move the photos from his system into my system and it's a pain. Any suggestions?

Are the iPhone models the same?

Otherwise you could use a smart album with the rule "camera Model is ..." for each of your iPhones to separate the photos according to camera.

Then you can tag the photos with a keyword with the person who took the photos or add the name to the title.

The title can be used as the filename, when you export the photos from Photos for Mac.
