Apple pen 2 tip not working

I’ve bought replacements, I’ve disconnected and reconnected, I’ve restarted my iPad, and my battery is full. My actual pen is working, it will switch from

tool to tool or whatever else if I double tap the side, but it won’t draw or write or anything when it’s touched to the screen.

Apple pen not working This problem started up a few weeks ago. My apple pen cannot interact with my screen. If I turn my iPad off and on a few times it starts to work but if I don’t use it for a minute it stops working again. It’s gotten to the point where I’ll get it to work then it’ll stop working 5 seconds later and take another 5-10 minutes to start working again It’s fully charged, it’s listed as connected all the time in Bluetooth even when not working, I can see the battery percentage in the side menu, when I plug it in it shows up in the “about” section in settings with all its info and such but it disappears when I unplug it, I normally charge it with the lightning cable adapter for the apple pen, I have done the “forget device” technique a dozen times to no effect, I have restarted my iPad numerous times and it has had no effect, and I have replaced the tip and ensured that it is fully screwed on. None of this has fixed it. The only thing that somewhat works is turning my device off and on a few times while testing the pen on the Lock Screen each time. This pen is a 1st generation apple pen, I’ve had it for a little over a year so it is no longer within warranty. My iPad that I’m connecting it to is an iPad Pro 12.9” (2nd generation) ver. 15.6.1 It is a replacement I received last year as the previous one was damaged

apple pen is charged but not working I had been using my apple pen for quite a while when it randomly stopped working. The pen has been fully charged and connected by Bluetooth when it is charging on the iPad. Once I lift the pen it states, "not connected". I have also tried disconnecting device and reconnecting it. Along with turning off the iPad. How can I fix this issue?

Apple Pencil not working I have had my Apple Pencil (gen 2) for about three years now I’ve used it almost every day since then and now it won’t work properly. I have tried forgetting the device in the Bluetooth settings and reconnecting that only works for about 15 minutes and then the pen “disconnects”. When I place it back on the charging spot, it says it is connected and fully charged, but just won’t draw on the iPad. I’ve also updated my iPad Pro to the most recent update , changed my nib as needed, and given the pen a brake, but it still doesn’t work is there a way to fix this?

Did you get these replacement Apple Pencil tips directly from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller ... or from another third-party source? If you got them from the former, then you have 14 days from the purchase date, to return them for either a full refund or replacement. In the mean time, you can contact Apple Support directly for further assistance with these. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
