PhotoShop Plugins for the iPad Pro

Are there any other photographers on here that are considering moving over to the iPad Pro? I am about due to replace my MacBook Pro. If I replace it with an equivalent it is going to be close to $5k USD. I’ve been considering instead, getting a MacBook Air and an iPad Pro. But I was hoping to learn more on the iPad Pro for photo editing journaling.

I currently use the DXO plugin NIK when I’m working in layers to ad detail and other effects for more sky and structural drama. Especially when working with narrow aperture images. I know currently NIK does. It provide support for the iPad Pro (or any iPad for that matter). So here’s my question. Is there any PhotoShop plugins that can be installed and work with PhotoShop on the iPad Pro? I feel like the answer with help me decide if getting an iPad Pro is really with it for me or if I just need to go full steam into the best MacBook Pro and wait another 5 years

Hello andrew_broadfoot,

We understand you are asking about using an iPad Pro for your photography editing. You specifically mentioned if there were plugins available to use Adobe Photoshop on it. The good news is that Adobe has a specific version designed to work on the iPad Pro. Read more here from the Adobe website: Adobe Photoshop now on iPad

Take care.
