I can no longer get text messages in my Subaru Outback via blue tooth. Seems like it stopped working after a recent update

Text messages showing on 2018 Toyota Sienna I have an iphone 11. Several month ago my text messages stopped showing up on Toyota screen. If I was driving I had the option to play the message. Now I get a quick notification that a text was received but no option to play it. I have to stop in order to read it on my phone or look for it on the car screen. The Blue Tooth "expert" at my dealership hadn't a clue why this was happening other then to blame it on an update. How can I get my texts to show up on the car screen again with the option to "play" it while driving.

bluteooth messages in car I have a 2022 Subaru Legacy Touring XT. Recently I have lost the ability to have messages come through to my car’s infotainment screen from my iPhone Xr. My contacts and the ability to make and receive phone calls are working. In corresponding with Subaru, I am being told that this is a problem with iOS version 16.4. Is anyone experiencing this? Or, does anyone know of a solution? Is Apple aware of this?

Car Play text messages wont' play after ios update I see this has been posted a few times but can't find a solution detailed. I use wired carplay in my F150, my wife uses wireless in her brand new Mazda. Since we both updated to IOS18.1.1 neither one of us gets a notification on the screen in our vehicles when we get a text message. Previous to the update, it didn't matter what screen we were in, we'd get a text notification pop up, and then it would take you to the Car Play screen. Now, nothing. Meaning I have to regularly tap the screen to open Car Play to see if the text icon is showing a message has been received. Is there a fix for this?

I have done as kebler recommended, but still do not receive msgs on Subaru Outback 2022 screen. It worked months ago, but no longer. IPhone SE, iOS 17.2. Outback has the latest StarLink software from Subaru. No problem with placing/receiving voice calls via Bluetooth.
