Hi there
I recently encrypted a folder on my mac.
However when i now go into the folder, i cannot open the quicktime movie file anymore. the file extension is IMG_0854.mov
it says the file size is 47.4mb which is about right, but no matter which programme i try and open it with it doesnt work. when i "get info" about the file it says it is only 4kb on the disk which is weird. any help?

Does the same behavior occur if you decrypt the folder? You should have an option to do this by control-clicking the folder: Protect your Mac information with encryption - Apple Support
When you try to play or open the file, do you get an error message? If so, what does it say?

i tried converting it but it doesnt work :(
when i double click the file, it won't even open quicktime.
using VLC i get the error message
opening .mov file
