What should I do if I went in steam room with my iPhone and the charging port is still wet a day later

Other than kicking yourself, allow it to continue to dry with gentle, room-temperature air; perhaps with a “fan assist.”


Placing it in a “Ziplock” along with some packaged/contained desiccant can’t do harm either.


DON’T use loose rice !

Turn it off immediately, then put it in a jar filled with silica gel for at least 24-48 hours.

If the issue persists, I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
