iOS 16.5 Update, Hearing aid connectivity issues

Hello everyone,

I am using Signia Motion C&G P 1X hearing aids. Before the update to iOS 16.5, everything was working fine. After I have updated to 16.5, my hearing aids do not connect properly to my iPhone anymore. After some time, or after using another bluetooth device, the connection is lost. The connection can sometimes be restored by going to the accessibility hearing aid menu, upon entering the menu the connection will be restored. Sometimes (randomly) this does not work, whereas I will wait for some time and then try again. How to fix this issue?

After getting my new 15 iPhone my hearing aids no longer paired with Easy Line remote. I was hoping the new iOS 17 update would resolve the hearing aid pairing issue with my 15 iPhone. It has not. What can be done to fix this issue?

My Signia hearing aids model are the same as above and worked fine until Apple updated IOS. Three days ago my Well Being option disappeared. I had to delete and download my Signia App. It 16.5.1. The Well Being option appeared and seamed to work properly. Then I noticed that the Wear Time timer was flakey. Once it stopped at 3 min. Next time 34 min. It never incremented for the next 12 hrs. Occasionally the fitness portion added as activities occurred. Then it would not add activities anymore. It would not change any settings after 34 min. I did all of the recommendations that were give in this thread. My Bluetooth was never an issue. Only activity data and wear time were messed. Any suggestions?

Problem fixed, with help from Apple support! They had me do the following: 1. Forget hearing aid device from the Setup > Accessibility > Hearing Device screen, then 2. Delete the Widex Evoke hearing aid app (from Widex, in my case). 3. Re-install the Widex Evoke hearing aid application from the App Store, then finally 4 Pair the hearing aids again with the phone. And magically, its working perfectly now, always staying connected when the hearing aids are ON.

This sequence worked for me: in Settings, turn off wifi. Also in Settings > Privacy Security > Bluetooth > turn off all bluetooth devices except the hearing aids. Then I opened the hearing aid app (ReSound in my case) to search for the hearing aids. Success! Seems like turning off the other possibly interfering bluetooth signals made it easier for the hearing aids to be “found” . After re-connecting, i then could turn on my other Bluetooth signals. Thanks to all who offered suggestions, which helped me solve the bluetooth problem. What a relief!
