CHILD BYPASSING SCREEN TIME & IT DEACTIVATING

Screen time limit is being bypassed by my child. She does not know the passcode, we have been sent out a new phone from Apple to troubleshoot, we have reset, we have done hard reset, and have called Apple to express our concerns, and all we were told was that it would be sent to upper management.

It’s clearly a bug and programming issue because when the screen time limit goes off, she requests one more minute and by doing that, it unlocks the entire phone. She demonstrated how she is able to do this. When she unlocks the entire phone, she has access to all websites, all apps which is highly concerning.

I’m really annoyed that Apple has not done anything about this even though they have had multiple software updates. This is a huge safety concern and there seems to be a complete lack of safety for minors using Apple products.

we have started shopping for Google phones instead since we know that their safety limits for minors are consistent. Especially since parents have been posting on this community and these forms for months and Apple has done nothing about it.
