Hi my 2017 air MacBook Mac OS high sierra 10.13.1 has stop updating my laptop when I go on the App Store it doesn’t allow me to download any updates.

You can upgrade to macOS Monterey. You can get macOS Monterey from How to download macOS - Apple Support.


Before installing, it’s a good idea to back up your Mac. While installing, avoid putting your Mac to sleep or closing its lid. Your Mac will restart, and it might show a progress bar or blank screen several times.

macOS Catalina and higher will not run 32-bit applications.


You may want to check which applications would need updating or replacing by going into  / About This Mac, selecting System Report…, selecting Applications (on the left), waiting for the machine to build the list, and then sorting the list by the 64-bit (Intel) header (click on it).
