Help - Siri prohibits me from using my iPad

Siri suggestions is locked on my iPad how do I unlock it? And I have no power button. I normally have to go to settings to turn off this iPad. Help

It is a common misconception that an iPad (or iPhone) can remain fully functional with damaged or defective physical buttons. 


Whilst Accessibility features (such as assistive touch) can be used to augment the User Interface, these features cannot be used as a substitute for physical button sequences that must be used to trigger system recovery actions. Sooner or later, as now, you may encounter a situation from which you cannot recover.


Until repaired, you will not be able to resolve a locked-out (disabled) iPad, reset a forgotten device passcode - or perform a forced-restart to resolve a stuck/stalled App or system function. Other than to allow the iPad battery to fully discharge - forcing the iPad to shut-down due to a depleted battery - you’ll not be able to overcome your current issue.


You can arrange for repair via the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - or via Apple’s mail-in repair service:
