Unresponsive IPhone SE screen

How can I repair an unresponsive IPhone SE screen? I already tried the side button restart instructions. I tried connecting it to iTunes but , was directed to click trust device on the iPhone which I can not do since the screen is unresponsive. I have let the phone die and fully recharged it as well. I have that SE on find my iPhone so I am trying to erase the device to see if maybe it’s due to storage but it is stuck on erase pending for about 25 mins now. So, I’m not sure if that will do anything but , any advice will help.
