Need to remove Facebook people from my Contacts App

I've done some more research and from what I've learned, you can as you know sync contacts from your iPhone to Facebook and from Facebook to your iPhone. That can be turned off, but from my research, once they are loaded to your Contacts on your iPhone, they are there and there is no simple facility to batch delete them.

My advice to go to www.icloud.com and do the deletions there as opposed to deleting contacts one by one on your iPhone, appears to be the option which will be the least painful.

On iPhone, it's delete one at a time. Instead, on your computer, go to www.icloud.com and sign in with you Apple ID and Password. You can delete multiple contacts there, but you'll still need to choose them one by one. But it's easier than deleting them on your iPhone.

I don't believe there is a correct link.

• The OP has 2000 contacts they let transfer over from Facebook to their contacts app on their iPhone.
• The OP is no longer linked to Facebook, but wants to find a fast way to delete these thousands of contacts, which are on their iPhone Contacts App.
• I suggested they go to www.icloud.com and choose the contacts they want to delete as opposed to trying to delete them one at a time on their iPhone.
• I don't think there is any other solution.

The article you linked provides a way to stop uploading contacts TO Facebook and delete contacts IN Facebook. But I don't see how that helps this user, who wants to delete contacts which were downloaded to their Contacts app on their iPhone FROM Facebook. I don't understand how that helps with the question? Maybe I'm missing something?
