Why does my Macbook Pro SIL stay yellow, even after charging all night. The computer shows it is charging, but it doesn't turn green.

Maybe you have enabled optimized charging:
If battery charging is paused or on hold on your Mac - Apple Support

Why does my Macbook Pro SIL stay yellow, after charging all night, instead of turning green. The computer shows it is charging, but the light does not change color.
