Google Drive FS not working after upgrade to MacOS 13

After upgrading to Ventura last week, Google Drive FS stopped working. The icon was greyed out as if there wasn't a connection, or I was logged out.
I tried logging out, but it didn't work.
I tried closing the application. Also didn't work.
Then I looked in Activity Monitor and searched for all open instances of Google Drive. There were 3 instances of the program running.
What fixed this for me was a total uninstall of the Google Drive app. After I uninstalled everything (included caches, etc) I was able to reinstall a fresh version of the app and it worked fine.
To do a complete uninstall, you can use an app like CleanMyMac. If you don't have something like that, read the following stack exchange post for instructions on how to do this from Terminal, or copy the pre-built shortcut and run it.
Worked perfectly for me. Hope this helps anyone with the same issue.
