My notifications are set to banners AND they work perfectly fine when I'm not in full screen (which means it's not because of a focus mode).
When I have an app or video in full screen, however, I no longer receive notification sounds or banners, nor do they appear in my notification center.
How can I fix this? Being able to know when I get a notification is obviously very important.

The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.5
