What is PlaybackEventStreams folder in Documents folder on iCloud Drive?

This folder showed up probably 4-6 weeks ago! It has 6 com.apple.Photos-(followed by different text) folders. Each folder has three files named database. The file named database is a small document of around 100kb. This document has some text that start with SQLite format 3.

Any thoughts on whether I should delete, move or keep this folder?

I also have the three database files, I just came across them. They haven't been modified since they were created last September. Has anybody got any further info? I guess it's okay to delete them. If, as someone above suggested they are a consequence of a photos memories function then they'll just get recreated the next time the machine throws up one of those random memories collections.

I have the same questions , I'm trying to 'spring clean' my iCloud documents directory and spotted this for the first time . The questions I have are

  1. can I move the folder to a different place?
  2. can I safely delete the folder and its contents ?
  3. Is there a method to prevent MacOS / OsX from creating the folder and files ? is it optional?

Thanks in advance
