I'm glad it seemed to rectify itself.
FWIW. I have a 2nd gen iPad Pro with one of these keyboards since I first got it ... and, so far, it has worked like a charm. I tried a few others, but really like the Apple keyboard best.

Is this Smart Keyboard purchased, directly from Apple, within the last year? Regardless, what have you tried, so far yourself, to resolve this so that we don't offer potential solutions which may not have already worked for you?
Did you have issues with this keyboard before, or did this just start happening?
seems it works fine now after restarting the iPad, excited to see how long that will last…
