I was having the issue on a new Windows 11 where iCloud for Windows was giving me an authentication error. I went into Security setting and added an exclusion for the process icloudprefs and that fixed my issue. I hope this helps.

I am having the same problem, I have a windows 11 PC that can't get www.icloud.com on line. I have a windows 10 PC on the same network that Can log in to www.icloud.com I have tried for days to find a solution.
