Recently we had an employee lock their phone and on termination we were unable to access the phone. This issue has been fixed. How do we prevent this from happening again? Is there a way we can create one user ID and have it on multiple phones so the business always knows the user name and passwords and It's not personalized to the employee?

You'll need a Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform that can support bypass activation lock at a minimum. If you are in a country that supports Apple Business Manager, you should set that up as well since it's free.

MDM platforms vary in price and feature set. Some popular vendors are Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle, and JumpCloud.

You can get started with Apple Business Manager at www.apple.com/business or reach out to the business team at your local Apple Store.
