I'm trying to set up the sim card on my e-watch .The option to add a new e-sim is not shown . I know the Croatian careers does not support to share the same number from the iphone but it should be possible to add a new number just for the watch

You can use the watch as a GPS only watch, which will provide all the features to your watch, as long as your paired iPhone is nearby.

The carrier is responsible for being to support Apple Watch. Your carrier or for that matter, no carrier in Croatia has set up the infrastructure to support Apple Watch. The watch HAS to share the same number as the phone.
Unfortunately, you live where you can't use the cellular side of Apple Watch.
Tell your carrier you want to be able to use cellular on your watch. It's up to them to be able to support it. But there would be no way today, you can set up service on the watch until your carrier is able to.

I saw that list, but I thought it was just for the impossibility to share on the apple watch the same number as on the paired iPhone . If the carrier does support the esim why on the apple watch it’s not possible to use a different phone number ?
