DND doesn’t work

How do I make the Do Not Disturb work on my I phone 14 Pro Max? It rings even if I have it on DND. I must be doing something wrong. I have tried all of the suggestions I can find that are for older I phones

Focus works somewhat differently than DND. See these instructions:
