I have a 9th generation iPad. It only has a lightning port. I would like to add a port hub that has an ethernet and HDMI ports. Is this possible. What do I need to do it.

There are few (if any) multiport adapters for Lightning.
Your iPad9 can be connected to many Lightning adapters that will individually provide connection to a single other port - such as HDMI, VGA, wired Ethernet or USB. As such, simultaneous connection to multiple external external interfaces will be difficult.
Other than accepting that you can only connect a single adapter/interface appropriate for the specific task at hand, you might consider using an Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter:

You'll need an adapter that connects lightning and USB and an adapter that connects USB and ethernet. Unfortunately, the only adapters that do this do not appear to be MFi certified and could cause damage to your device. You could use the lightning to HDMI and Lightning to USB3 adapters, and then add the USB to ethernet adapter. This is a long chain of adapters, however, and it could be prone to issues.
An alternative option (and more flexible option) might be to consider the Apple Lighting to USB3 Camera Adapter - and daisy chain one of the many available USB Type-A to Ethernet Adapters.
UGreen reportedly have good reputation for reliable USB Ethernet Adapters.
Thanks, I did the same ( for hours). There's lots of USBC stuff tho. Maybe there's a way to convert the lighting output/input to USBC first then use a C hub which have what I'm looking for ? I know the APPLE wire I have that has Lightning at one end and USBC on the other end won't help, it's for power only.
Thanks for the above comments. So if I start with the Apple Lightning to USB3 camera adapter I can then connect to a USB hub, and there are USB hubs that have HDMI & Ethernet ports ? If so can anyone recommend one.
If not then I get it, I'll have to settle for just using the single adapter, the Lightning to Ethernet by Belkin.
I’ve looked up at Amazon and there seems to be no external hubs that connects via Lightning to your iPad, and has HDMI and Ethernet ports.
