iPhones loosing wifi connection on Ubiquiti gear

My iphone 11 Pro and 13 Pro keeps loosing wifi on my home network. The network consists of 100% Ubiquiti gear.

Ubiquiti says this is a Apple issues.

I have tried several software editions on my AP's without any luck. Keep disconnecting. And this is a nightmare when I play music on my homepods and sonos speakers, I will loose the ability to controll the songs played, and the volume due to the lost connection. How can I make sure some developers note of this issue?

Both phones are running on latest iOS software. (And I have 3 AP's running latest stable software)

And the disconnection happens during standby time and then network activity in general is siphoning off 4/5G data plan. Infuriating.

For more information on the network gear there is a topic over her:

Meta update: The forum tags my old iphone 8, which is not in use. We are using iphone 11 Pro and 13 Pro in this household.

Well, if it happens at home only, check if this support article can be helpful (for you and/or for Ubiquity support team):--> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points .

If not, as already suggested, I would try contacting Apple Support directly (we, just users like you, don't have appropriate tools to diagnose that kind of issue remotely, sorry). You can use this link:--> Contact Apple for support and service .

Thanks and regards

Hello Grimnar,

Does it happen at home only, or using different wifi networks too?

Should be the former, it shouldn't depend on your iPhone(s), and we can do nothing to help you.

Should be the latter, I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

Regards

Giulio

At home only as far as I know, but then again I never go anywhere else to check either. But it's the home enviroment that I focus on, since it's the home (!) with all other networked things like apple tv, home pods etc.

The 11 Pro and my ubiquiti setup is both wiped and setup fresh again. And I have a Mac, iPad, and just now powered up my old iphone 8 to see. They don't have any issues with the connection.
