After downloading, Visual Studio Code icon does not display correctly. I think this is the icon of the default development Apps icon. I have tried to redownload the application and the icon is the same.
While it is only a visual bug, it is kind of annoying and I would like to fix it.
Any help is appreciated.
The icon looks correctly in the finder.
Have you tried removing the icon from the dock, then tried to re-add it again?
Another thing you can try is to issue this command from Terminal:
killall Dock
If that doesn't help and re-adding it doesn’t help try this command:
defaults delete com.apple.dock && killall Dock

Thanks, I have tried remove and adding it, it did not work.
Also I tried defaults delete com.apple.dock && killall Dock and the icon is still the bugged icon.
